On Wednesday 27th September, Born Free will hold their 5th ‘Go Wild Golf Day’ at Gatton Manor Golf Club. To make this day a success, golfers of all levels and experience are urged to sign-up and join the 18-hole charity challenge.

In teams of four, golfers will get the chance to challenge their rivals from all over Sussex and Surrey, as well as compete against Born Free’s very own golfing team. Golfers can show off their abilities across the 200 acres of scenic countryside, with the use of tranquil streams, lakes and tree-lined fairways.

With refreshments included on arrival and a three-course presentation buffet once the tournament has finished, every team who joins will have a fun-packed day – with the chance of winning a range of prizes, including the coveted Born Free ‘Pride Jacket’.

For £60 per person, you can ‘go wild’ and join all members in the golf tournaments before attending the presentation lunch, or for just £25, you can join in with the lunch (limited places available). There is also the opportunity for businesses and individuals to sponsor a hole or goody bag item.

The Foundation’s founder, much-loved actress, Virginia McKenna OBE said: “We are extremely grateful to Gatton Manor Gold Club for hosting our event this year and of course all the players and sponsors who will make this a great day”. Money raised will contribute to helping Born Free ‘Keep Wildlife in the Wild’, by protecting threatened species in their natural habitats, stopping suffering and rescuing animals in need around the world.
