PRESS RELEASE: Formentera Yoga introduce the graceful art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for new 2016 retreats. Learn empowering self-defence techniques as well as how to turn negative energy into a positive thing with the ancient art of Jiu-Jitsu in six sunshine filled days by the sea in the Ibiza countryside. The perfect antidote for stressed-out city people.

This year in April & July 2016 best-selling author and yoga expert (and founder of the pioneering yoga brand Formentera Yoga) Jacqueline Lysycia, will be hosting new Dynamic yoga, Jiu-Jitsu and Somatic Meditation retreats in Ibiza at the Sunrise Mountain Retreat house. Jiu Jitsu is traditionally a form of self-defence but it can also be used for managing negative energy.  Whether you’ve had a bad day at work or are in a confronting situation with your boss by learning the art and skills of Jiu Jitsu you will be able to help transform negative energy into a positive thing.   Situated in the mountains overlooking the sea, the gorgeous retreat location is set in acres of rolling grounds full of citrus groves that includes a magnificent Balinese yoga deck overlooksing a beautiful pool with views of the sea.   Founder of Formentera Yoga, teacher and Nike Yoga presenter Jax Lysycia says ‘This year I’m bringing an exciting new twist to our retreats with the opportunity for people to combine yoga with the grace and art of Jiu-Jitsu.  Jiu-Jitsu allows you to move negative energy into positive boundaries which I feel we can all use in the modern world today.  Jiu-Jitsu and yoga complement each other perfectly and they both have roots entwined with Buddhism and ancient India.  Not only will you enjoy the grace, balance and power in your body from the Jiu-Jitsu sequences, you will also benefit from the anti-ageing effects of the yoga’.   Jax also says ‘Also new this year for our guests is a new June 2016 retreat. We are introducing the Summer Solstice Weekend PH Balance and Yin Yoga Express Cleanse for Busy People. Enjoy a long weekend away educating yourself on how to maintain the perfect ph balance for the human organism to thrive.  This long weekend also offers the cutting edge Bio-magnetic healing which helps the body heal itself by destroying unhealthy bacteria caused by high acidity levels which may cause health problems in later life.
