Located approximately two hours from Toronto, Blue Mountain Village offers a relaxing escape from city life for the whole family. There are numerous activities available for visitors of all ages, with something for everyone to enjoy. The exhilarating Ridge Runner Mountain Coaster gives riders the opportunity to be in control of their own speed down the twists and turns of the mountain. A low ropes course that is suitable for both beginners and expert climbers sits at the bottom of the mountain. For those seeking a challenge, there is also a high ropes course that reaches up to 50ft above the forest floor.
Blue Mountain also offers less strenuous activities including, a scenic ride in an open-air gondola to the top of the escarpment and a Putting Course where children and adults can test their golfing skills. Younger visitors can enjoy ‘Plunge!’ an indoor and outdoor water playground, designed in the style of a traditional cottage boathouse featuring hot tubs, rope swings, docks and slides.

Located 218 km north of Toronto is Deerhurst Resort. This family friendly complex offers a variety of activities for guests of all ages. The resort is home to some of Ontario’s most premier golf courses including: Deerhurst Lakeside Golf Course and Deerhurst Highlands Golf Course. The resort holds Junior Golf Camps for children aged 5-13 throughout the months of July and August, here they are taught full and short game fundamentals and golf etiquette. Children are also given the opportunity to ride and groom ponies and to visit the new on-site petting farm. Animals at the farm include: goats, sheep, chickens, an alpaca, pigs, calves, emu chicks and more! Summer Adventure Camps run throughout July and August, here children can spend 5 consecutive days getting involved in activities including tubing, treetop trekking, indoor rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding, horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking and more.
There is a variety of accommodation types at Deerhurst, these range from main building rooms, located in the main section of the resort, lakeside rooms, located conveniently near to the beach, offering fantastic views of the lake.
